The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to establish, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a bridge contract with Roche Diagnostics. Roche Diagnostics currently supplies the DoD Drug Program with Immunoassay Specific Screening Reagent kits for d-Methamphetamine under a contract that requires a bridge. The current contract expires 19 January 2008. The proposed bridge contract will have a Period of Performance of 20 January 2008 to 19 April 2008. The bridge contract is concluded when the Methamphetamine reagent kit resolicitation is awarded. The bridge contract shall be placed in anticipation of the award of a requirements contract resulting from competitive solicitation, N62645-07-R-0023, anticipated to be awarded by 19 April 2008. Roche Diagnostics shall provide Methamphetamine reagent kits for the drug labs located in San Diego, CA; Jacksonville, FL; Great Lakes, IL; Brooks City-Base, TX; Fort Meade, MD; Washington, DC; and Tripler AMC, HI.
