Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. currently supplys unique reagents and instrumentation to Walter Reed Army Hospital. The instruments have been fully validated by the Pathology Laboratory in accordance with the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Un ique reagents are needed to run the instrumentation and are only available through Ventana. Additionally, instruments are compatible with and interfaced to the CHCS laboratory information system (LIS). The results are formatted to provide automated trans mission to the LIS. Due to unique information system requirements, any instrument interface developed with CHCS are the proprietary jurisdiction of SAIC FAR 6.302-1(b)(2).
