A--Engineering Analysis for the Contamination Indicator Decontamination Assurance System (CIDAS)

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division in support of the Product Manager for the Contamination Indicator Decontamination Assurance System (CIDAS) under the Joint Project Manager for Protection (JPM P) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Agentase, LLC, located at 2240 William Pitt Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15238, under the authority as prescribed in 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement is to procure an engineering analysis of the Edgewood Chemical and Biological Command (ECBC) Advanced Design and Manufacturing team's Chemeleon applicator design for a compatibility study with the chemical warfare agent indicator Agentase Disclosure Spray (ADS) procured under Contract W911QY-13-C-0044 as a logical follow-on to that effort. Agentase LLC was the awardee under the prior effort to provide a chemical warfare agent indicator for testing and is the only source that can provide the required service as they are the sole owner of ADS for which they own the proprietary rights. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325998 and the size standard is 500 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
