Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source purchase order to West Sanitation Services, INC., 2158 Beaumont Drive, Baton Gouge, LA 70806, a small business, for replacement fluid for Aerowest (odder control system) and replacement gel for Westair (odder control system). The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one responsible source. The Governments intends to utilize Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). However, in the event that a vendor/contractor feels that you are capable of providing the required supplies/services a capabilities statement shall be submitted by 3 January 2014. The Government will assess each capability statement to determine whether the vendor/contract is capable of providing the required supplies/services and if they are registered in SAM. Vendors/Contractors are cautioned that failure to provide a capability statement by the response date will be consider non-responsive and the Government will proceed with the intent to sole source. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325998 - All other miscellaneous chemical product and preparation manufacturing.
