Explosive Detection Equipment (EDE)

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to ICX Nomadics for explosive detection equipment (EDE) as required by DoD Instruction O-2000.12H. Delivery location is Blount Island Command, Jacksonville, Florida. Delivery date is 15 September 2009. The technical scope of this task involves the delivery of EDE that is light weight, uses nano-chain technology, detects HMX at required levels, and is reliable in outdoor operations. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Written responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement as described above.
