Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has announced a tender for the procurement of materials

The Unites States Agency of International Development (the USAID) and the Government of Georgia have entered into an agreement for assistance to promote energy security through greater access to electricity and natural gas supplies for households in Western Georgia, promoting the development of Poti Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) on the Black Sea coast, and secure power exports through reliability related infrastructure improvements. Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has announced a tender for the procurement of materials for the construction of 47 km section of '' Kutaisi-Abasha" pipeline. Interested individuals and legal entities are invited to submit the bids. The winner should provide the delivery of required pipes, valves, T-joints, tees, bends and end-caps no later than 120 days following the entry into force of the agreement; Bids must be received from 11:00 local time, December 16, 2011 until 18:00 local time, December 21, 2011. Bids will be opened at 18:00 local time on December 21, 2011 in the administrative building of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation .
