This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quote W912NS-05-T-0013, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. The North Am erican Industry Classification System Code is 332311 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with B & B Storage Leasing LLC, 5850 W. Highway 60, Brookline, MO 65619. The requ irement is leasing of seven (7) portable metal storage buildings, 24 wide X 30 long, 8 outside walls, overhead steel door and a walk through door. These storage buildings are currently on site, and filled with Government parts and equipment. The p roposed contract action is for leasing seven storage buildings for one base year, with four option years. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for comp etitive price quotes. However, all quotes received by 01/02/05 5:00PM CST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
