The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, intends to make a Sole Source Award to Dredge Technology Corporation, P O Box 1520, Wayne, NJ 07474 to manufacture sluice valves for the Dredge Wheeler. Dredge Technology Corporation is the original equi pment manufacturer (OEM) of the sluice valves. The OEM is the only source with proprietary manufacturing to produce the valves. To assure interchangeability, these spare parts must be exactly the same as the ones on the ship. Sole Source award will be m ade under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii) A,B.
