Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contract for the Procurement of TN9 9MM 115GR FMJ match (AMU).

The Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Ammunition, Quantico, VA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Atlanta Arms and Ammo, 721 Vine Cir, Social Circle, GA 30025, for 130,000 rounds of TN9 9MM 115GR FMJ match (AMU). This requirement is in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Competition-In-Arms Program. This specific round from Atlanta Arms and Ammo has been developed for and tested by the Weapons Training Battalion for use in their competitions and is currently the only approved round of that caliber in their inventory. The estimated contract value is $56,000.00. The estimated purchase order award date is 1 June 2009. Deliveries will begin within 2 weeks after purchase order award. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332992, Small Arms Ammunition Manufacturing. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely! received, must be considered by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting a white paper, technical data for the item, and past performance data no later than 25 May 2009 by email to [email protected]. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR).
