The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide an update on TARGET DATES for key XM919 IAM milestone events, including release of the DRAFT Request for Proposals (DRFP), the Final Request for Proposals (RFP) and INDUSTRY DAY #3. Industry Day #3 - XM919 Individual Assault Munition (IAM) The Office of the Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) is hosting a hybrid, in-person and virtual, Industry Day #3 on 14-15 June 2023 for the XM919 Individual Assault Munition (IAM) Program. The XM919 IAM is defined as a single-shot, disposable, Shoulder Launched Munition (SLM) capable of engaging multiple target configurations from open and confined spaces. The Government is seeking a mature production-ready SLM with the capability of meeting the XM919 IAM requirements. This is a subsequent event to Industry Day #1 (Special Notice: W15QKN-21-Z-0GB9) which was held on 20 April 2021, and Industry Day #2 (Special Notice: W15QKN-22-Z-0PPC) held on 30 August 2022. The purpose of Industry Day #3 is to update industry on the XM919 IAM contracting approach, program status, and address industry inquiries on the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. The XM919 IAM Draft RFP is tentatively scheduled to be released in May 2023. The purpose of the Draft RFP is to clearly communicate the expectations, requirements, and proposal evaluation process for XM919 IAM in preparation for the release of the Final RFP (Target: July 2023). Please Note: The Government reserves the right to revise the Draft RFP, in its sole discretion, prior to release of the Final RFP. Industry Day #3 provides the opportunity for Industry and Government to ask questions and seek clarifications as they relate to the XM919 IAM and the Draft RFP. Discussion will be conducted in the form of a general Question and Answer (Q&A) session regarding the XM919 IAM Draft RFP, XM919 IAM Performance Specifications (P-Specs) and XM919 IAM requirements. Questions can be submitted in advance (before registration) or on the day of the event. The questions and responses will be presented in an open forum, with other companies present. Separate One-on-One sessions will be scheduled immediately following the final presentation on day one (14 June 2023) and day two (15 June 2023). One-on-One sessions (in-person or virtual) can be requested and scheduled upon Government approval of a company’s written request. All information discussed at Industry Day will be unclassified. This Industry Day shall not be used to elicit trade secrets. No sales pitches or “giveaways” shall be permitted from Industry participants. No competition-sensitive or vendor proprietary information/data, will be released, though questions of a general nature that the Government overlooked in its Industry Day presentation may be shared with all industry participants. All company information will be treated confidentially. The Government will not entertain contractor non-disclosure agreements (NDA). Companies must provide the name, title, company, and contact information (email and phone number) for each attendee. There is no limit on the number of personnel attending sessions virtually, however all virtual attendees must be identified. Attendee substitutions will be permitted if advance notice and all required documentation is provided at least seven (7) days before Industry Day #3. All other substitutions are prohibited. Each session will be limited to ninety (90) minutes in duration. Companies interested in participating in a One-on-One session must indicate their interest during the registration process no later than 1600 EST on 26 May 2023. Invitations will be sent to registered companies once a timeslot has been scheduled. The in-person and virtual One-on-One sessions will be used to inform the Government of the current and developing capabilities of the industrial base, and ask questions pertaining to the draft RFP and information provided during Industry Day in a private forum. These sessions will be unclassified. The Government will attempt, but cannot guarantee, the accommodation of company requests for different timeslots. [email protected]. XM919 IAM P-Specs The draft XM919 IAM, XM922 Sub-Caliber Trainer and Sub-Caliber Trainer Ammunition P-Specs are finalized and in staffing for approval. To assist in understanding the XM919 IAM requirements, the draft XM919 IAM, XM922 Sub-Caliber Trainer and Sub-Caliber Trainer Ammunition P-Specs will be available to interested contractors upon request in accordance with the instructions below. These documents are not required to participate in Industry Day. To request a copy of the XM919 IAM, XM922 Sub-caliber Trainer and Sub-Caliber Trainer Ammunition P-Specs: 1. Contractors must submit their request for the XM919 IAM, XM922 Sub-caliber Trainer and Sub-Caliber Trainer Ammunition P-Spec(s) on company letterhead addressed to ACC-NJ along with the forms specified below. Submissions should be transmitted via email to the primary and secondary ACC-NJ POCs. 2.
