69--The purpose of this special notice is to synopsize the Government's intent to complete a Sole Source Justification (Limited Source) for Meggitt Targets.

The government intends to establish a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for Meggitt Targets for a performance period of 19 April 2015 to 18 April 2016. Meggitt Training Systems are the live fire target systems that are currently installed at the Fort McCoy, WI firing ranges. These systems consist of over a thousand different parts that could potentially go faulty and need replacement at any given time. Authority: Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level or quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized (FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B)).
