J--Repair, Testing, and Calibration of two (2) Cemen Tech volumetric concrete mixers

USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to CEMEN TECH, INC., 1700 N 14TH ST, INDIANOLA, IA, 50125-1587 for repair, testing, and calibration of two (2) Cemen Tech volumetric concrete mixers . CEMEN TECH, INC. is the only manufacturer of the referenced volumetric mixers that can ensure calibrations, repair and maintenance is correct for full-scale demonstrations. These mixers have been specifically calibrated for the use with proprietary rapid setting material by Cemen Tech in coordination with ERDC research and development. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 12:00 PM CDT, Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
