KOR-IT Mobile Trailer System

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV, contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 13.501(a)(l)(iii) to KOR-IT Diamond Tools to be used at the Nellis AFB. The purchase order will be for the purchase of the KOR-Mobile Trailer System under part number K-160-G17. The requested item provides a remote capability that no other brand on the market provides. The 820th RHS conducts construction projects in remote locations where utilities are scarce. This mobile core drill trailer allows for quality control testing of asphalt and concrete that can not be achieved by any other drill apparatus on the market. Other companies may provide a drilling capability but do not have a water source, electrical source, and drilling capability all in one trailer. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit documentation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received electronically by 12:00PM PST, 26 Sep 16 that are equivalent to the KOR-Mobile Trailer System will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
