Notice to award sole source_ Guam Trailer repair

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE . This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regular (FAR) 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this notice is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) set forth in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Trailer is non operational and is a mission critical piece of equipement for USCG Station Apra Harbor in Guam. USCG intends to award to Pacific Unlimited in Guam. the intent to have locally set aside in Guam is due to the urgency of repairing the trailor. 4 vendors in Guam showed interest but only Pacific unlimited was able to provide a quote. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement clearly demonstrating the ability to perform the requested service before this notice close date, which may be considered by the Agency. Responses to this notice shall be submitted to SKCS Justin Hinkle at [email protected] A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
