The Government intends to issue a Sole Source Award under the authority of FAR 13.501 to Holden Industries, Southwest City, MO 64863, for a Jeep Dolly; component to a 60-ton trailer previously purchased from Holden . The anticipated award date is 26 August 2004. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, pro posals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation services as the Request for Quotation. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerc ial Items apply to this acquisition. Best Value to the Government will be used to evaluate offers. This includes, but is not limited to, the best price when considering the merits of all offers. Offers need to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items with their offer. Offers must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and should include their DUNS number, Cage Code and Federal Tax ID number. The clause at 52.212-5, C ontract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
