N66001-21-Q-0174 – Notice of Intent to Award: Sole Source to DRS Advanced ISR, LLC

The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with DRS Advanced ISR, LLC. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEMDESCRIPTIONQUANTITY 0001Processor CCA, SMT2B 1 The above supplies are for the USQ-125 Circuit Card Assemblies. This specialized proprietary equipment is used while testing and analyzing Tactical Data Links. The material is needed to repair existing equipment currently used to complete mission. The AN/USQ-125 Link-11/TADIL-A DTS provides all required modem and network control functions in a Link-11/TADIL-A system using either HF or UHF. Alternate equipment is not compatible to go into the DRS USQ-125, and to replace to an alternate system with possible cheaper replacement parts would require significant cost. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. The applicable NAICS Code is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees.
