Pre-Solicitation Conference - Submarine Trainer Hardware Fabrication and Installation Support

The purpose of this amendment is to provide updated information with regard to Submarine Trainer Hardware Fabrication and Installation Support RFP# N66604-14-R-0596 Fedbizops announcement dated 8 OCT 2014. The emphasis is no longer considered services but is now a Hardware and Fabrication procurement with minimal Engineering Services; as such, it is no longer considered a follow-on to Seaport-e Task Order N00178-04-D-4018-N410. Furthermore, this procurement will be solicited using NAICS Code 334111. The resulting contract will award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with both Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) provisions. Anticipated release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is May 2015.
