Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Earthwalk Communications, Inc. for the Smart Cart Express 8x8, 8 Bay Wireless Mobile Computer Labs. This notice was previously advertised under an incorrect NAICS code, the correct associated NAICS code is 334111. The computer labs are unique to Earthwalk's specific product and manufacturer. The Smart Cart Express is a tool used to conduct language training for rapid deployment, even in a non-traditional class room environment such as the field, and is needed to satisfy mission requirements. Failure to purchase these items would decrease training effectiveness and limit training to locations with an available computer lab. This is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Determination by the Government not t o compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet the requirements. If no affirmative written response is received, the supplies will be awarded without further notice.
