US Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed-price award to 3D Research Corporation, 7057 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, Alabama 35806. This award provides for compatibil ity of equipment, non-personal services for labor and consultation/technical expertise for Phase II to complete the Server Room and the Test Asset requirements of the Aberdeen Common Control Node. Equipment in all the Common Control Nodes have to be identi cal for compatibility in hardware support, firmware and software configuration management throughout the Future Combat System testing. The performance period will be 31 August 2005 through 30 August 2006 for the Base Year with four one-year options through 30 August 2010. This is a sole source procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with 3D Research Corporation under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334111 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
