The SAO-E R&D Contracting Office, Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Qualisys North America, Inc., 1603 Barclay Blvd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, for the procurement of 4 Oqus 700 Camera Systems and 2 Oqus 700 Wide Angle Camera Systems as additional components to the existing Qualisys/Oqus System at the VA Minneapolis Medical Center, One Veterans Parkway, Minneapolis, MN. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) & (2) (only 1 responsible source) because the Government believes that Qualisys is the only manufacturer/seller/installer of these units and that only these units have the compatibility and technology required to integrate seamlessly with the existing system used in research at the Minneapolis VA. This notice of intent is not for competitive quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 334310, small business size standard of 750 employees. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. However, parties may express their interest accompanied by supporting literature by email to Jeff Greis, Contracting Officer, no later than May 14, 12:01 ET.
