This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Radiation Detection Technologies, Inc., DUNS 078496852, CAGE Code 6RS99, of 4615 S Dwight Dr. Manhattan, KS, 66502-1418. The requirement is for one-hundred and thirty (130) each of 4-strip Micro-structured Semiconductor Neutron Detectors (MSNDs). ***ITEM 1 ** SRM 4S-MSND detectors MFG: Radiation Detection Technologies Inc. P/N: 4S-MSND.SRM.O QTY: 130. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Radiation Detection Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government’s requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 334413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote which may be considered by the Government.
