This notice will serve as notification of a solicitation for the following requirements: CLIN 0001 ITEM DESCRIPTION: Quantity: 5 Each Detailed Specifications For the Purchase of a 500 W CW Laser Diode Array The Physics department has a requirement to purchase five (5) high power laser diode arrays for use in our research labs. Each array should consist of a ten laser diode bars mounted on a single mount. The output wavelength must be 852 nm +/- 5 nm and the output power of the array must be specified for room temperature (25 degree C) operation. Module should have the following specifications: a. 500 W CW output power in array b. 10 bars per array (50 W per bar) c. Output wavelength of 852 +/- 5 nm d. Spectral width of < 4 nm e. AR coating of 0.5% f. Bar smile (peak to valley) of < 2.0 micron g. Fast axis beam divergence of < 36 degrees h. Slow axis beam divergence of < 12 degrees i. Operating current of < 65 Amps DC j. Operating voltage of < 20 VDC k. Operating temperature of 25 degree C l. Polarization: TE 90% m.
