20--Annual synopsis of repair Basic Ordering Agreement N00104-15-G-A102 for repair of electron tubes by Communications and Power Industries - Beverly Microwave Division (CAGE Code 88236)

This is the NAVUSP WSS synopsis for FY 2017 orders to be placed under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00104-15-G-A102 with COMMUNICATIONS and POWER INDUSTRIES (CAGE Code 88236). COMMUNICATIONS and POWER INDUSTRIES is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source to possess full repair capability. The repairs will be for forty-one NSNs. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. The subject items require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are mission critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of these items has been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
