59--Bridge Signal Conditioning Cards

Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis with Precision Filters Inc., 240 Cherry St., Ithaca, NY 14850-5099. The U.S. Army Proving has a requirement for a quantity of five (5) Quad Bridge Conditioners, part number 28104-A-BE6-6 along with options that includes a quantity of five (5) Bridge Completion Module, part number BC1/124 and five (5) Bridge Resistor Module, part number BR1/124-350-10762. Precision Filters Inc. is the only producer of these items. These items must be compatible with existing software and hardware. The Government needs the physical identical cards to ensure they fit into existing instrumented signal conditioner units. The Government currently own 32 racks and 160+ signal conditioning cards. These cards are a part of the Integrated Ballistic Data System (IBDS). The North American Classification Systems code 334419 with a size standard of 750 employees will be utilized for this requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 3 June 2015 8:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
