Articulated sensor with a third axis of motion for Eddy Current test equipment.

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to procure limited quantities of an articulated sensor with a third axis of motion for Eddy Current test equipment. The articulated sensor will be attached to existing non-destructive Eddy Current test equipment located at Dynamic Flowform, Billerica, MA and Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, MD. This procurement will be sole-sourced to Laser Techniques Company (LTC), 742 185th Avenue NE, Suite 300, Redmond, Washington, 98052. This procurement supports an acquisition of systems previously developed, tested, and produced by LTC for testing purposes of the 81mm mortar tubes at the Dynamic Flowform facility. As the developer and sole producer of the Eddy Current system utilized by Dynamic Flowform, LTC alone has the unique specific knowledge of the system design modifications necessary to satisfy the USMC requirement.
