--Notice to award to St. Jude Medical SC Inc.

Madigan Army Medical Center intends to establish an award to St. Jude Medical SC Inc. under FAR 13.106-1 to provide pacemakers, stents, balloons, wires, angioseal closure devices and other related cardiac supplies. The award will be for the period o f 1 October 2005  30 September 2006 for a total estimated value of $30,000.00. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses received to this notice i s solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. See Note 22.
