NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE-GYROCOMPASS DATA DISTRIBUTION UNIT (DDU)

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center Yorktown, VA has a requirement for one (1) PCB Netans Gyrocompass Data Distribution Unit (DDU) to be used to teach the next generation of Electrician’s Mate (EM) in the setup, verification and troubleshooting of service wide equipment onboard Training Center Yorktown, VA. This is hereby a notice of intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Purchase Order to IXBLUE DEFENSE SYSTEMS Inc., 27 Wellington Rd, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865-4411, (DUNS Number 138745877, Cage Code: 3MFU2) on a sole source basis in accordance with with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated award date is on or around 6 April 2021; This notice is not a request for quotation and no solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements received within three (3) calendar days of this announcement may be considered by the Government.
