Notice of Intent to Sole Source/Sources Sought The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) Chief Procurement Office intends to negotiate with Spirent Federal Systems, Inc., located in Pleasant Grove, UT, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source to provide a VCE6-OPT-DEE: DEE License. The unique technical specifications for the VCE6-OPT-DEE: DEE License are the full compatibility with the existing RF Channel Emulation equipment. The NAICS Code is 334511 - Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. FirstNet anticipates negotiating and awarding a firm-fixed-price contract to Spirent Federal Systems, Inc. for this requirement. Interested parties who can demonstrate they could satisfy the requirements listed above for FirstNet must clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. Please limit responses to five (5) pages or less. Responses should include the following information: 1. Name of company that will provide product. 2. Name of company that will manufacture the product. 3. Spec sheets and examples of products that meet the specifications. 4. Typical lead time to deliver the product after receipt of order. 5. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing our minimum specifications and finalizing our market research. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
