Sole Source

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is planning a Sole-Source contract with Siemen's Water Technology to supply materials and labor to replace the membrane modules in two existing water filtration arrays with new chlorine resistant modules that operate under lower pressure and clean with less expensive chemicals. Along with this work the Siemens staff will upgrade the programming and cleaning processes to be compatible with the new modules for the existing water treatment plant at Crow Creek Indian Reservation, South Dakota. Siemens is the only supplier that can provide the parts and equipment required for upgrading the existing system. This upgrade cannot be provided by another company without a complete re-placement of the water treatment system at a substantially higher cost. Duration of the contract will be from 180 days from Date of Award. Project magnitude is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. This announcement is Set-Aside Sole-Source, FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(a).
