This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT by ACA Directorate of Contracting, 4118 Susquehanna Ave., Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD., using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure 25 rolls of Custom Multipair Cable, MFG PART# OSK2228/4KX20PP-1000. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 for the above product to Omega Engineering, Inc., One Omega Drive, Stamford, CT 06907. Note: This firm is t he sole manufacturer of the product being requested. Cables shall be compatible with existing cables currently in use at the Government Facility. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy the agency require ments. All responses received within 3 business days (March 10, 2008) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
