NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: Ortho Vitros XT 7600 - Navy MEDLOG General Services Administration hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for the Ortho Vitros XT 7600 and accessories to Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., 1001 US HWY 202, Raritan, New Jersey, 08869-1424, UEID JG5JF2JQJ121 on behalf of the U.S. Navy, Naval Medical Logistics Command (NAVMEDLOGCOM), Fort Detrick, MD. The total estimated maximum value is less than $500,000.00 The proposed procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 and in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) as only one source will reasonably satisfy agency requirements and delay of award would result in serious injury to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
