Sole Source: The United States Army Contracting Command, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), MICC Center Yuma, U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Laser Techniques Company, LLC, 6742 185th Avenue NE Suite 300, Redmond, WA 98052-6714. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). This acquisition is for the Portable LBIS 155MM profile sensor scaning assembly 155MM Howitzer and Self-Propelled Gun will suppport cannon tube inspection and measruement capabilities for mission requirements under the Metrology & Simulation Division at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona. Laser Techniques Company, LLC are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and holds proprietary rights on the existing system being utilized at YPG. This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items per FAR 13.5.
