Key Drawer

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure two KeyTrak automated key control drawers and cabinet. These drawers are to supplement existing ones, and must be compatible. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above products to the firm of Federal Key, 4010 Soleado Drive, Wesley Chapel, North Carolina 28104. The Proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This requirement will be two drawers and one cabinet. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
