The Department of the Army, Mission Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting at White Sands Missile Range, NM, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, intends to award sole source to ThermoFisher Scientific, 27 Forge Pkwy Franklin, MA 02038-3135, a contract for providing RMS3C1 Digital Area Monitors and DA1-BCCRx Probes with all necessary cables with connectors, as well as, an Industrial View Point Server for the Gamma Radiation Facility (GRF). ThermoFisher Scientific is able to provide the unique equipment which is extremely difficult to design and costly to acquire. ThermoFisher Scientific does not need to invest time in research develop for this requirement and will be able to provide the equipment with out the additional requirement of research and design.
