--Sole Source Solicitation for fifty Model 5305-5 Wind Monitors to R.M. Young Company

The Department of the Army, Installation Contracting Command, Enterprise and Installation Operations, Directorate of Contracting at White Sands Missile Range, NM, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, intends to award sole source to R.M. Young Company at 2801 Aero Park Drive, Traverse City, Michigan 49686-9171, a contract for fifty (50) Wind Monitors, Model 5305-5 compatible with Campbell Scientific Data Loggers. The Model 5305-5 Wind Monitor AQ (Campbell) was developed by R.M. Young specifically for use with the Campbell Scientific, Inc. CR23X Micro-logger Data Acquisition System. The CR23X Micro-logger Data Acquisition System is the only data logger used by White Sands Missile Range Meteorology Branch. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources capable of meeting the requirement must submit a capability statement by 3:00 pm MST 26 June 2008.
