The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to PIETER VAN WEENEN & CO. GMBH, Fabrik Sonntag 3, Waldkirch, BW,79183, DEU on a sole source basis, for supply of Human Lung Models & Air/Cell Exposure to Assess Pulmonary Injury/The rapeutics Against Chemical Warfare Nerve Agent. Uniform exposure of each cell of the human invitro luring model in a filter disc is critical for the success of the project and this companys equipment is the only known source that can perform this task. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W74MYF7074N502. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services wil l satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is capable of meeting the Go vernments requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further n otice.
