The Department of Defense (DoD) Automatic Test System (ATS) Management Board?s NxTest Integrated Product Team (IPT), will host a DoD Next Generation ATS Workshop March 27-30, 2007 in Baltimore, Maryland. The DoD NxTest IPT is a group of engineers in lead Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) positions for each military service. The times for the conference are as follows: March 27-29, 0800-1700 and March 30, 0800-1200. Industry will have the opportunity to provide the DoD NxTest IPT with private feedback on new concepts and new technologies for general ATE use. The DoD NxTest IPT is particularly interested in concept briefings dealing with Organizational Level (O-level) Maintenance, Autonomic Logistics, Electronic Management Support System (EMSS) and Intermediate Level (I-level) equipment dealing with the repair of aircraft engines. March 27 is scheduled for the O-level technology briefings. March 29 is scheduled for new technologies dealing with I-level engine test. Note: Industry technology briefings will be limited to one-half hour closed-door sessions followed by a ten minute question and answer period.
