This is for the backup generator for the existing MICU. The anticipated source is Elite Aluminum Corporation, 4650 Lyons Technology Parkway, Coconut Creek, FL 33073 for the Caterpillar XQ 230 165ks single-phase, tier 4 generator with software configuration. This is not a formal solicitation or request for quote. This synopsis of intent is to give notice of the Government s intent to make a sole source award. Contractors who can provide the Dept of Veterans Affairs with the required services are invited to electronically submit an affirmative written response indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. Specifications for this requirement are as follows: The contractor shall provide the generator and software configuration compliant with the existing generator. Responses should appear on company letterhead and include, at minimum, affirmation of active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), your Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number, any applicable processed credentials and qualifications, and any applicable pricing data or information. All responses should include a Point of Contract (POC), telephone number, and electronic mail address (email).
