60--Fiber Optic Transmitter

We intend to award to a sole source contract to EG&G Technical Services Inc. 2420 Commanche Road NE D2, Albuquerque, NM 87107-4630, to purchase a Fiber Optic Transmitter. The Fiber Optic Transmitter are only manufactured, developed, and maintenanced by EG&G Technical Services Inc., who has proprietary rights. The Fiber Optic Transmitter is compatible and interchangeable with the existing equipment. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement. This is not request for quotations. No Solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming.
