28--The Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis under authority FAR 6.302 for the overhaul of the AGT 1500 engine.

This action proposes to award a contract to Honeywell International to provide hardware and engineering support services for engine overhaul requirements at Annistion Army Deport for the Automotive Gas Turbine 1500 Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization Program. Engineering efforts will include technical and quality assistance to improve the AGT 150 engine overhaul processes, identify and develop durability improvements, data collection and data management, root cause corrective action analyses, new hardware, kitting support and inventory management, technical data maintenance, field service support and integrated supply chain management.
