--Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement to UNICOR. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for office furniture in accordance with FAR Part 12 Regulations. Acquisition of Commercial Items. The award will go to UNICOR Federal Prison Industries. This requirement is considered sole source due to the fact that furniture needs to match existing furniture already in the facility, thus establishing commonality among furniture system within the offices. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. The USPFO for New Hampshire intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
