36C25018Q0572 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Rehab Unit Beds The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting from a single-source and VAAR 819.7007, Sole source awards to service disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Fedco, LLC., 1792 Bell Tower Lane, Weston, FL 33326, a SDVOSB, for Rehab Unit Beds. The Rehab Unit Beds are Hill-Rom 1000 beds that are used for patients with special needs in terms of comfort care and after medical procedures. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
