Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1), intends to issue a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), to Shamrock Scientific Specialty Systems, LLC. Shamrock Scientific Specialty Systems, LLC is the manufacturer and only distributer of the required products. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339113- Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 (employees). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation documents are available and requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
