Special Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Portland, Oregon intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to Medtronic, 1800 Pyramid Place Bldg A, Memphis, TN 38132-1719. This proposed action is for O-Arm Complete Multidimensional Surgical Imaging System with 3D, multi-plane Fluoro imaging capability at the Portland VA Medical Center. The VA intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.303-2 and FAR 13.501 . This is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis.
