65--The Puget Sound VA Healthcare System intends to make and award for eight Viabahn Endoprosthesis with Heparin Bioactive Surface Stents as a single source per FAR Part 13

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VISN 20, VA NW Healthcare System, Specialized Branch Contracting, Vancouver WA, 98662 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, to W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. 1500 N. 4th St. Flagstaff, AZ. This procurement will be single source due to W.L. gore & Associates, Inc. being the only one responsible source capable of supplying Viabahn Endoprosthesis Stent-Grafts to be used by the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System in Seattle Washington. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government in the future. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement and considered for future reference. All information submitted should support the capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
