Notice of Intent to Sole Source purchase in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 to SnapSport Corporation

NAVUSP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to SnapSport Corporation, 10035 Carroll Canyon Suite B San Diego, CA 92131. The proposed contract action is to provide 4,224 square feet of BounceBack FR high Performance Tile and other items related to the court flooring - see below for list of all items. This requirement is for the USS BOXER, LHD-4 in support of the health and wellbeing of the sailors located in San Diego, California. Due to the nature of shipboard safety and fire precautions needed to be observed onboard a naval vessel, strict technical requirements must be followed. In accordance with NAVSEA guidance Ser 05P/051 from 06 SEP 2019, flooring manufactured by SNAPSPORTS Corporation meets MIL-SPEC technical and safety requirements and is authorized for shipboard use. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(d)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The NAICS code is 339920 and the applicable business size is 750 Employees. Interested parties may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Submissions are due by Monday, 13 February 2023, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, via email. The solicitation document can be obtained via email request. The Government will consider all capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no submissions are received by the due date and time, FLCSD will proceed with the sole source award.
