Hydroworx 2000 Series Service Plan

Special Notice M0084-15-SU-00HDW Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Installations West Regional Contracting Office (MCIWEST RCO) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis on or about 15 Jan 2015 to Hydroworx International, Inc. Per reference FAR 13.501(a)(1), the contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available. The prospective contractor shall provide and install a belt drive upgrade and pool remote for Hydroworx 2000 Series pool. Upon completion of this installation the prospective contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items, and non-personal services necessary for a Hydroworx 2000 Series Service Plan. This service plan covers the cleaning, adjustment, lubrication and calibration of the Hydroworx 2000 Series pool for the Wounded Warrior Battalion on board Camp Pendleton, CA. At this time, Hydroworx is the only identified source capable of providing the full requirement by 15 Jan 2014 when the contractor will be required to begin performance. A Sole Source Justification Letter is attached regarding this determination. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339920 with the size standard of 500 Employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit technical capabilities, which, if received within ten calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by MCI-WEST RCO for future requirements as this is a reoccurring requirement.
