Straight Talk - How do Veterans First Contracting Program adjustments from the Supreme Court Kingdomware decision impact you? The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to helping Businesses navigate changes to the contracting process in response to the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Kingdomware Technologies, Inc. v. United States. The Court held that VA must apply the Rule of Two to all competitive contract awards, including orders on the Federal Supply Schedules. VA will comply with the Court's decision. As a business, you are essential to the success of VA as it pertains to securing procurement opportunities. It is important that you know how the Kingdomware decision will affect you and your responsibility with the procurement process in the future.
