Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to MORSE WATCHMANS INC for Key Watcher Cabinet System

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Morse Watchmans Inc., 2 Morse Road, Oxford, CT 06478-1040. The proposed contract action is to purchase and install Keywatcher Cabinet System for Naval Base San Diego Combined Bachelor Housing. See attached material list with specification required for this procurement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Fleet Logistics Center’s needs. All items must have a lead time of 8 weeks or less for acceptability. Detailed technical information must be submitted to Manuel Pua, Contract Specialist, [email protected] ,no later 14 September 2015, 2:00 PM (PST). This synopsis is not to be considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but responses will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by the closing date and time noted in this synopsis, a contract may be awarded to Morse Watchmans Inc.
