71--SHELVING FOR PRIMARY CARE SUPPLIES

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Systems Concept, Inc, Columbia, MD for wire shelving system in the facility. All parts and services are proprietary to Systems Concept, Inc. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer by 1400 (EST) September 23, 2011. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 6, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5510. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Systems Concept, Inc.
